Cultural Experiences
The Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra
The popularity and repertoire continue to grow for this wonderful community orchestra and chorus. The season is made up of subscription concerts, special event concerts and regularly scheduled performances, plus concerts in conjunction with other regional symphonies.
Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival
The Chamber Music Festival presents world-class musicians in collaboration with one another, playing both traditional chamber pieces as well as modern pieces, jazz, world music and more. Each season runs from early July through late August and features a variety of well known individual performers, groups and ensembles.
The Santa Fe Opera
This world-renowned venue is an amphitheater in the rolling hills just outside of Santa Fe with views of the surrounding Sangre de Cristo and Jemez mountains. Not only is the setting spectacular but the performers, musicians, set design and productions are of the highest caliber. The season runs from late June through the end of August every year.

The New Mexico History Museum
This museum is a must see in Santa Fe and is located right near the Plaza. Visit all of the fantastic exhibits, historic treasures, and wealth of information on the history and culture of New Mexico.

Georgia O'Keeffe Museum
This beautiful facility is considered to be one of the country's most important museums, housing the works of one of the century's most important artists. The 13,000 square-foot museum is located in downtown Santa Fe and is convenient to the Plaza. From July through October the museum is open 7 days a week. From November through June it is closed on Wednesdays. Hours are 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM except on Fridays when hours are 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Admission is for adults, free for children 17 and under and students with i.d. for New Mexico residents with ID Thursdays, for senior citizens 60 and over. Fridays are free 5PM to 8 PM.
Museum of Fine Arts
Located just west of the Plaza, this museum displays an extensive permanent collection of Southwestern artists, including major pieces by Georgia O'Keeffe. New exhibitions are always being mounted to cover the work of contemporary artists of all kinds.
